Bassinet for Baby Boy

When my first Nephew was born 10 years ago we got crazy. One of the most pretty things we made for him was a custom bassinet. Recently for our sixth baby in the family we decided to made a new one. Pretty similar to the old one. Here what my sister and I did…
We bough a simple white bassinet at Pottery Barn Kids. The cushion pad is from Babies R Us. We wanted to make it taller, so we installed 10" wood leg extensions (you can find them at Lowe's and ask to cut them the size you want) with sided screws. The canopy holder is made by galvanized wire 9 gauge and wrapped with a fabric lace. Bedding, skirt and canopy is custom made. Inside there is another tulle skirt. So it looks bulkier.

  3. Be careful in choosing one though because a badly chosen bassinet may cause your baby to be uncomfortable in his sleep. Worse, it may even hurt the baby or lead to a harmful accident.best bassinet for newborn
